Our Ethics

Only members of the National Association of Realtors  (NAR) can call themselves Realtors.  Realtors pledge to adhere to a strict code of ethics that can be read it's entirity here.  Complaints about ethics violations are handled by the NAR or their local affiliates. If you believe a Realtor has violated the code of ethics, you may find forms for filing a complaint here.
While the State of Oregon Real Estate Agency does not oversee the ethics of realtors, they do oversee their licenses and complaince with all administrative rule and licensure requirements.  As with any licensed professional, it's wise to do your homework before entering in a contract.  You may research an agent's licensing status, or file a complaint against a realtor if you believe they have breached licensing requirements, at this site.
